Ilayathalapathy Vijay as a Cop in Jilla

With earlier reports which confirmed the official release of Thala 54 on Pongal it meant Thala would battle head on against Ilayathalapathy who's Jilla was also slated for release for Pongal. 

Now here is an insider scoop on Ilayathalapathy's Jilla.

After Pokiri, Ilayathalapathy will once again be donning the Police Avatar for his Jilla movie. Recently a scene with 50 original police trainees was shot in Aavadi Police Camp and Vijay was also seen in the Cop Dress. A comedy scene featuring actor Bramanandham and Vijay was also canned, The comedy actor does the role of a police trainee. 

Vidyullekha Raman in a recent interview had this to say on Jilla   “I got a call from the Jilla unit saying that they wanted me for a fun role. I will be playing a humorous female cop in the film and will share screen space with Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal. They will start shooting my scenes from July 19 in Chennai,”

Looks like Vijay Fans are in for one hell of a treat with their Thalapathy donning the Super-Cop role again.
