Protest Against Asin to star in Dhruva Natchathiram

As SS Music earlier http://ssmusictheblog.blogspot.in/2013/07/asin-to-pair-up-with-surya-for-dhruva.html reported after much debate and discussion reports suggested that Gautham Menon has finally roped in Asin to pair up with Surya for Dhruva Natchathiram. 

However there has been a protest of sorts condemning the Asin's presence in the movie. 

Regarding the issue, Muthu Ramesh, Chennai Regional head of Hindu People party released statement:

Film Associations imposed ban on actors and actresses from going to Sri Lanka following problems encountered by Eelam Tamils. Asin violated the ban and went for movie shooting in Sri Lanka.So, we are stressing that Asin should not be made to do Tamil movies. It is condemnable that Gautham Menon has signed her for upcoming Tamil movie.This cannot be allowed. Gautham Menon should not act against feelings of Tamils.If Asin is made to do the movie, we would not allow movie shooting to be conducted We would agitate. 

With several issues already facing Dhruva Natchathiram and Gautham Menon it's is very unlikely that the director would risk these protests against the movie.
