Shah Rukh Khan's much anticipated Chennai Express is slated for release on August 9th. SRK is leaving no stones unturned in terms of promoting the movie. Chennai Express has loads of connection with Kollywood as several actors like Sathyaraj, Mohan Roman are all part of the cast with Deepika Padukone enacting the role of Tamil girl in the movie.
However it wasn't all smooth sailing for the movie has it received huge flak for Deepika's tamil accent. SRK has now taken the movie promotion to all new level by dedicating a special song to Superstar Rajinikanth titled "Thalaivaar Tribute : Lungi Dance" performed by Honey singh.
But even this promotional strategy has been getting mixed reviews as the fans all over the social media have warned others to not be fooled by SRK's sudden respect towards Superstar as it they have called it off as nothing more than marketing strategy for his movie.
SRK addressed these comments by making this tweet
The Thalaivar(r) Tribute to Rajani Sir is out. Lungi Dance. Seemed apt if u make a film called Chennai Exp..u need to bow to the greatest.
