Samar, an Overview

Just like Vishwaroopam, this movie was also in a delicate state of whether it would be a pongal release or not but this movie did make it to being a pongal release unlike vishwaroopam.Samar is directed by Thiru, and the lead cast being Vishal ,Trisha, Sunaina and Manoj Bajpai.This is actually the second time vishal and thiru have collabrated the first being Theeratha Villayaattu Pillai. Trisha having rejected no less than four vishal movies in the past (Sathyam, Thoranai, Theeratha Villayattu Pillai & Vedi ) finally pairs up with him in this movie.To be honest the movie's music album isn't anywhere close to what Yuvan Shankar Raja did for Thiru in Theeratha Villayaattu Pillai.Lets see if the Combination works second time around for Thiru and Vishal.
