Hansika caught in a Fresh Controversy

27/03/2014
The busy actress of Kollywood Hansika has been caught in a controversy of sorts, The actress who was supposed to launch a private cab service recently backed out of the event at the last time. Sources close to the cab service alleged that Hansika's behaviour was unprofessional, and led to confusion.

"She (Hansika) had signed the official contract, and everything was laid out clearly in black and white. On the evening before the launch, Hansika called up the cab company asking for five additional flight tickets from Hyderabad to Chennai, which stumped the organizers as she had already asked for a number of tickets earlier, and the company had obliged. Upon being refused, the actress called up again saying she wasn't OK with the company using her pictures that would be taken during the launch for anything more than 15 days from the day of the event. The contract that she had signed very clearly stipulated that the company could use the pictures for a month from the date of the launch event. This was a major embarrassment for the company as the invites had already been sent and Hansika's participation at the launch had been widely publicized," a source claimed. However, sources close to the actress have refuted these allegations.

A source close to the actress said, "When they approached us, we agreed to attend only the launch function. We wanted them to assure us that they would not use Hansika's name or photos after that. We asked them for a contract including certain reasonable clauses from our side. When they refused to commit to this agreement, we informed them that Hansika would not be a part of this function. The decision to not be a part of the event too was communicated to them well in advance. We have not backed out at the last moment as is being claimed," said the source.

Responding to the claim that the actress had skipped the event to avoid the media, the source said, "Hansika has recently attended the audio launch of Maan Karate and addressed the media. She has always been very media-friendly and there is no need for her to avoid them."
