Vijay makes a surprise confirmation on Thala55

Director Gautham Menon who announced that his Thala starrer will kick-start on 9th of April is however yet to make the official announcement on the film's cast and crew. The confirmation of the lead actress came on Saivam's audio launch where Gautham Menon and Anushka were part of illustrious guest list. Director Vijay thanked Anushka for her presence in the event and went on to reveal that Anushka was part of Gautham Menon's film and said it would be a great combo. 

There is also another buzz that Trisha or Amy Jackson might play the second female lead in Thala 55. An official announcement from Gautham Menon is expected real soon.
