Vishal & Lakshmi Menon's Lip Lock remains !

Vishal and Lakshmi Menon's much talked about Lip lock in Naan Sigappu Manithan was in danger of being deleting for U certificate sake. The makers of the movie appealed to the revising committee and they have awarded the film U/A certificate for the film. 

The co-producer of the film Dhananjayan of UTV Motion Pictures had this to say "Censor board was demanding the cuts in specific scenes in flashback to give U, which will dilute the impact of the film as they are an integral part of the story. Only minor cuts in kissing & underwater scenes were sought along with that. We decided to go with U/A with minimal cuts to retain the intensity of the narration. The unanimous view of the censor board members was the film has come out very well and should be presented as it is to retain the impact. So to present a high-impact film we are going with U/A."

Naan Sigappu Manithan is slated for release on April 11.
