Director Lingusamy in a recent interview officially confirmed that Surya is playing a dual role in Anjaan which leads up to an intresting time at Kollywood where all the upcoming movies of the big league actors have dual and triple roles.

• Superstar Rajinikanth - Triple Roles in Kochadaiyaan - Kochadaiiyaan (title Role) and his two sons Rana and Sena.
• Ajith playing a dual role of both the Hero and the Villain in Thala 55 with Gautham Menon. #Unofficial.
