Surya & Kamal Haasan in Indian Part 2 ?

Kollywood is currently flooding with reports of a possible sequel to 'Indian', starring Kamal Haasan and Surya. Indian was one of the biggest movies of Shankar's career , and reports have it that the director would go back to directing a sequel with Surya playing the role of Kamal Haasan's Grandson.
Reports also have it that Indian 2 would be made at budget of 125 crores, and Shankar would take up this project immediately after the completion of 'I'.

As we all know that Indian released in 1996 had an open ending , suggesting a sequel was always on the cards.It has been close to 20 years since the movie released and now the rumours have surfaced that Kamal and Surya may act in the sequel.Kamal has always shown keen interest in Suriya's career right from Day 1 ,fans also have seen Suriya as Kamal's worthy successor which has also made the relationship between these two actors stronger.Kamal's spoken very highly of Suriya in several award functions and it is also worth mentioning that it was Kamal who bought Suriya his gym equipments which helped the latter develop his six packs.
