It's known that Vijay recently donated a sum of Rs 5 lakhs to his producers of earlier movies who were currently in financial constraints. Following this Director Selvabarathi, Venkatesh, Ezhil, Perarasu, Balasekaran, Ravi appreciated Vijay for his help towards the producers in thanking function for Vijay's kind gesture.
In the function the directors appreciated the actor and said “Vijay’s help has made everybody happy in this industry and Vijay has been the best example to other leading actors and we will be thanking him in person”.
The directors even went to on to add that after Rajinikanth it's Vijay who is helping film producers and recalled how Rajinikanth helped SP.Muthuraman’s team members when they were suffering due to financial loss by doing Arunachalam.
