For the past few days our kollywood rumor mills has been quite busy hinting upon a possible reunion of Ilayaraja and Mani Ratnam. The Legendary Combo who parted ways due to their creative indifferences recently met in Mumbai after several decades, this meeting sparked off a talk that Mani Ratnam might go with the Maestro Ilayaraja for his next movie, However Mani Ratnam has opted for AR Rahman once again.
Sushasini Mani Ratnam made the official confirmation that Mani Ratnam would be working with A.R Rahman for his next movie. As SS Music earlier reported Mani Ratnam's next was a period film "Lajjo" featuring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor which was based on the India - Pakistan Partition.
