Actress Shruti Haasan has undergone an appendix operation in Mumbai. The actress who was admitted to Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospital after she complained of acute stomach pain. Shruti was promoting her forthcoming release 'Yevadu' at its app launch when she complained of the pain.
Times of India reported that Shruti brought in the New Year with her dad, Kamal Haasan, in Chennai. "The next day, she flew to Hyderabad and shot from 6 am till evening. At 8 pm she felt uneasy during a press conference and was rushed to the hospital where she was told to undergo an appendectomy at the earliest."
Shruti spokesperson had this to say on the actress
"She is a brave girl and has been advised to not make any sudden movement for the next eight to 10 days. Kamal sir is calling every hour and her friends from the South fraternity are keeping her company. Tomorrow the doctor will decide when she will get discharged. In a week's time she will get back at work."
