Producer Mahendran who filed a petition yesterday in court to stay the release of Jilla has been attacked by a group in Chennai. The Producer who alleged that the title belonged to him has been admitted in Surya Hospital in Chennai with severe injuries on the face.
While it is unclear as to who attacked the Mahendran, it is to be noted that he had filed a petition against the release of Vijay starrer Jilla since he has the rights of a Tamil dubbed Telugu film starring Ravi Teja in the lead which he has titled it as Jilla.
