A Case Against All in All Azhagu Raja on Alleged Fraud

Actor Karthi who desperately needed a hit in All In Azhagu Raja after a series of debacles in Saguni, Alex Pandiyan has missed the mark yet again. The movie has been under fire from numerous critics who were baffled on why Karthi choose to do such a movie which was even without a basic storyline. Common audience took out their disappointment in various social media. Though the film-makers have now trimmed the movie by 20 minutes, the feeling is its already too late to save the movie.

All in All Azhagu Raja is now faced with yet another issue, Singaravelan from Chennai has filed a welfare case against the movie alleging that the movie has cheated government in order to get the Tax Exemption certificate. He states in his petition that the movie has been advertised as All in All Azhagu Raja in paper ads, TV Ads and even in roadside posters but the makers have got the tax exemption certificate from the government for the title Azhagu Raja. If the movie hadn't got this certificate, the producer would have to pay 18 crores as Tax to the government. But the makers have changed the title and cheated the government and so the Tax Exemption certificate which was awarded earlier should be cancelled and the interim ban should be posed on the movie.

This petition was dealt by Chief Justice Rajesh Kumar Aggarwal and M.Satyanarayanan, Who have demanded the makers to submit audit certificate. The case was moved to November 7th for second hearing.
