Kamal Haasan quit Smoking for the Kissing scenes

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has revealed that he had started smoking at a young age of 11, but the actor quit smoking due to various reasons and one among those that top the list were the lip lock scenes that he had to do in his films.

Kamal Haasan said he had quit smoking considering his heroines that he had to kiss in lip lock scenes which were common in his films.  "Imagine the plight of the heroines if I had to kiss them in the evening time of shoot after having all the coffee through the day along with the smoking," he said.

On a funny yet serious note the living legend also urged youngsters to quit smoking at least for their girlfriends and wifes considering this aspect.
