Thalaiva's Screenplay is a Dynamite - AL Vijay

In a time where getting Ilayathalapathy call sheet seems to be the biggest acheivement of kollywood directors   AL Vijay bagged the same after a disaster in Thandavam. AL Vijay for the first time after taking up 'Thalaiva' has come out and given an interview to leading tamil Magazine.

AL Vijay recollected of how he used to be big fan of Vijay from Childhood and how he used to wear 'Kadhalukku Mariyaadhai' Style T-Shirts and coolers in his teenage. AL Vijay also stated saying it was Vijay who called him first to appreciate his work in 'Madaraspattinam' and said that they should work together soon. It was actually Chandra Prakash Jain who held the call sheet of Vijay and asked me to narrate a story to Vijay , and so i went to Vijay and narrated the story with single line "One should not run behind Thalaivaa title and it should come to them". Vijay was immeditely impressed and thats how Thalaivaa happened.

AL Vijay also added that unlike his previous film Thandavam , Thalaiva won't have any tragic moments or slow and draggy screenplay , from first scene to last the screenplay will be a dynamite. When asked on the story of movie he said "Every Leader will have background story of their current position , and Thalaivaa will be a flashback of one such story".

AL Vijay was also quizzed about Sathayaraj and Amala Paul roles in the movie, he said yes Sathayaraj is playing an important role and i don't want to break the suspense , watch the film to find out whether he plays the Godfather or Villain for Vijay and regarding Amala Paul it was Vijay who suggested Amala Paul's name after seeing 'Run baby Run'.
